90 degree angle?

Hello

I read we are suppose to sleep in a 90 degree angle. Just curious what exactly is that? I know im a bit clueless but is that sleeping while sitting in a chair back str8? anyone have any pix of this ? I think i should start practicing lol

You don't have to sleep at a precise 90 degree angle post-op, but the whole idea is to keep your head elevated while sleeping to help prevent the loss of any grafts. You don't want the increased pressure of blood flow to your scalp so soon after surgery. IMO, you only need to sleep at this elevation for about three days post-op.

Yes, that'sd in fact what I have done. But I also folded a blanket and put that in the chest shouler area adjacent to the pillows. It made it a gradual incline. Make sure your head is always elevated above your feet level as much as possible.
