I took the plunge in December 2016 and started on finasteride 0.5mg per day for 3 months. I didn't experience any negative sides so I upped it to 1 mg per day. I've been waiting for some kind of shed but it hasn't happened so far... I don't think I've regrown much, if at all.
However, I am having surgery in September so hopefully things will be stabilised for that.
I don't take any other supplements. I once tried minoxidil but got terrible headaches from it.
Am I having a more or less typical response?
Attached are a few pics, I tried to do them under the same bathroom lights. It is truly shocking to see the downward view like this! Breaks my heart.
