Sounds great.

I have been going downhill on finasteride for 6 months and losin faith it will turnaround but hope it will.

Was goin for hair transplant but holdin off as loss is so aggressive..need a startin pt.

How many grafts did you have and was it hairline and you've not lost behind?...that's always my worry

4250 grafts I believe the # was .

I had hair from front to back ; but very thin and getting worse.
Transplant filled in.

After 12 months or so things looked really good... then the remaining hair started to go bye bye.
I waited for a bit then decided I needed to get on a program to maintain what I had.

Been great so far.

I remember years ago before I had a transplant I was on finpecia for
4 months or so.
Got frustrated and gave up (didn't give it a chance).

Decided then it was time for a transplant.

No regrets here.
people can say what they want - when to get a transplant.
i didn't care and went ahead with it.
to have that confidence back - an amazing feeling.

Thanks for this, its reassuring no matter when you go for hair transplant it can work out. I'm 44 and confidence going as fast as my hair, my hair was good up until early last year when it started disappearing...we don't expect that at our age...think any loss will be slow.

You could probably get more hair transplant if you really needed to and that's my thought..I can carry on waiting as hair gets worse and hope meds help or get the hair transplant and whatever happens I know a hairline will be comin back and likely meds will retain the back.

I can imagine how confident you now feel especially comparing your look to other guys same age and knowing you look 10yrs younger than most. :)

yep the confidence is amazing ....

I have heard the "you look so much younger than 50" compliment

quite often ....

Best decision I ever made.

How long did it continue to improve, did you see much improvement after the 1yr stage?

After 12-18 months I cannot say the thickness improved; but the length sure did which added to the fullness.

Along with my regimen I mentioned it can't get much better !

Awesome feeling!

i could be wrong ,seems like you never posted any pictures? you said you did and i searched all your previous posts and you say in each update that you must 'remember' to post some.......sorry but im quite dubious looking at your past posts :?

looked again-after repeated requests for pictures you never posted any,you may have deleted them but i dont see why you would?

and you seem to love praising the place you got it done, and call me cynical but reviewing your posts you sound like a salesman......so fnlostish what is actually going on here? post some before and after pics and put me to shame :p

I had some pics up about 2 months ago.

someone complained saying the angles were not exactly the same
before & after... thus pics were removed.
I did the best I could with just me snapping the shots.
