Hey guys,
I started shedding a year ago when I was 17. Now I am 18. My hairloss had a devastating affect on me. I wanted to start minoxidil last year itself but I was scared cuz of the horror stories I read about it.
'I used minoxidil and lost all my hair.'
'minoxidil ruined my hairline.'
'minoxidil made my hair shed and it never grew back.'
I was scared after i read all this. But this year I started to give minoxidil a try and stick to it. I did go through a shedding phase but it was hardly noticable. Now the shed has calmed down and after 50 days I already see soft thin hair on my temples and thick fat hairs on my hairline. I am really glad I started Rogaine. I will start propecia when i am 19.
The point of writing this is that the people who are scared of taking minoxidil due to the shedding phase. Please reconsider. It can regrow or atleast stabilize your hairloss. Shedding phase drama is just overhyped everywhere.
P.S - PLEASE TAKE PROPECIA OR dutasteride ALONG WITH IT OR IT WILL LOSE ITS EFFICIENCY.
