Hey fellas, I'm new to the forum and saw that several of you have spironolactone in your hairloss treatment plan. Could you please tell me where you can purchase this product and how it is working for you. Thanks

Welcome, fellow SoCal'er.

You can get spironolactone 2% and 5% at http://www.xandrox.com

I've used both.. the 2% is easier to apply, but is really only okay to use at night or on cold days. The 2%, if mixed with minoxidil, and in conditions of high heat (like working out, or wearing it out on a hot day), it does have a subtle but very distinct odor. I used to use it, had no probs with this, but I only used it at night so the odor never developed. The 5% is in a cream form, which means it is harder to apply because it can sometimes get stuck in your hair if applied to areas with existing hair. The upside of the 5% is that there is no odor issue, at all.

If you are interested in trying spironolactone, I suggest you order both and see which you like best.
