5% minoxidil and dry scalp question??

I use 5% minoxidil once a day. When I get out of the shower I notice my scalp looks really dry until I put the minoxidil on. Is that normal? I use Nizoral 3 times a week and take 1/4 prosar daily with a multi vitamin. So just wondering about the dry scalp if it's ok or not. thanks
