I apologize for not having a baseline to judge by but I was so depressed back then due to hair loss that I could hardly even get out of bed. I'm 24yrs old, in good physical shape and eat fairly healthy. I take a daily multivitamin along with a Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamin and 1mg Finasteride.

I started noticing my hair loss at about 21yrs old after cutting my hair short (I have had medium length hair most of my life) and I noticed that my hairline is just a disaster area so I subsequently buzzed it all off due to freaking out and wore hats for 6 months straight in public until it grew out again. On a positive not my crown is still looking good :woot:!!!

I had a considerable amount of hair fall prior to starting finasteride and would find easily 70+ hairs in the shower drain every other day (I shower every other day due to dry skin) Ever since month 2 on finasteride my hairline has stabilized somewhat and I only see 20 or so hairs in the drain but it has not improved at all and looks terrible.

Thankfully I have mastered the mop and hide it pretty well but it seems like the only two hairstyles I can even pull off anymore are a mop or buzz which limits my creativity. I don't even dare to go swimming anymore even though my physique is pretty good, I honestly could be ripped and have ladies all over me yet I'd feel like crap due to hair loss. I'm in my mid-twenties and haven't even been on a date for 2 years now due to this despite having a few women interested in me.

I know one other guy that is 26 and has hair as bad as mine and he's in the same boat so it's not just me. My dad has a high hairline and his side has normal mature hairlines and my moms side of the family is just a DISASTER ZONE in the hair loss department, my hair looks like a mixture of both sides of the family and is a bit worse than my dads who is 55!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, finasteride has stabilized my situation with zero side effects even though if there were side effects I wouldn't care because I haven't had :hump: in about 2 years. But yeah, TL:DR... LIFE ISN'T FAIR!:freak:

Also, the date on my camera isn't set right and I lost my job yesterday so sorry if this is over-dramatized.

That's a rough looking hairline. DHT has been attacking your hair follicles for at least 3 years. Give Finasteride more time to work.
