I have been using Remox III from Dr. Klein (Physicians Hair Growth) ever since I have had a hair loss problem. I have never tried traditional Rogaine. The current Remox formula has 5% minoxidil, 1.5% Azelaic Acid and 0.025% Tretinoin. For this liquid spray I pay about $50/mo. w/ shipping. However, I have no idea what it really is. I assume it has what it says in it, but all I really know is it tingles a little when I put it on. Any experience with this guy's stuff? I would actually like to use Rogaine as I would at least definitely know what I was getting, but I would lose the Azelaic Acid & Tretinoin combo.

P.S. I'm on 1/4 Proscar and the above spray. What additional product would be best to add to this regime if you could only pick one?

Thanks.

You can buy a 5% minoxidil/retin-a (tretinoin) mix from Dr lee at minoxidil.com for about $20 a month. He also sells a 5%minoxidil/azelaic acid mix for about 33 bucks a month. Remox is a ripoff, I would cease using it immediately if I were you.

Azelaic acid has never been proven to do anything for male pattern baldness regardless of any claims made, so you can probably drop that safely. More than likely, you can achieve similar results with good ol' 5% generic minoxidil from Walmart.

Retin-a could prove to be useful, so you may want to keep that in your regimen. You can buy it as separate solution from Dr Lee for about 10 bucks and use it along with generic minoxidil. You'll be doing the same thing for yourself for less than 10 bucks a month. (Dr lee does charge initial $20 consultation fee, if you decide to check his products out, but it'll will be worth it for you in the long run.

Went to Dr. Lee's site. A little overwhelmed with the number of products. Also, 15% minoxidil seems like a ton. My scalp gets a bit irritated using 5%. Any exerience with this. It is also very expensive.

Forget all the exotic formulations, just go on Rogaine Foam, this is the least likely to cause any irritation and its also the neatest. If you can tolerate it consider using Retin-A, either 0.025% or 0.05%, this will amplify the effects of minoxidil besides inducing additional growth on its own.

but for what i need to pay 20$ ?

can i just buy his products and dont pay 20$ ?

If you live in the US you are required to pay the $20 fee which is billed to your credit card with your first order. Anywhere else in the world the fee isn't applicable.
