So just ran into this article.

Sounds interesting. There are some pictures of the skin in the Independent article but I'm not sure they are related. The paper itself is behind the paywall which is a bummer. However I am really interested if their skin has hair follicles on it. Or if it is a possibility...

If its the one I remember seeing the skin did have hair follicles, but I dont know how closely they resembled real human hair genetically speaking. If its even relevant to growing head hair I am not sure either. Decades away if ever I wouldnt get your hopes too high on this kind of thing. That printer probably costs hundreds of thousands.
