hello,

started noticing my hair loss @ 20 (almost 12 years ago now), second year of college. believe or not didn't become that noticeable until about 3 years ago. now it's really bad.
is it even worth it for me to start finasteride/rogain regimen?
these pics are from 8 months ago btw. if you can't tell in the second pic (b/c of ****ty quality/light), the hair @ the front of/over my forehead is like fluff.
thanks...

yeah, they are really cruddy photos. i'll try and get some new ones soon.
you can still see the hair loss on the crown, no? and again, my forehead hair is thin fluff, but you can't really tell by that photo.

You have a lil loss in the crown, but you still have good thick hair. Have you noticed any change in hair texture, is it harder to style than it used to be? Any miniaturization of hairs in your hair line? And how important is your hair to you? If the answer is yes to all those things, i would look into finasteride. You probably wouldn't need rogaine in addition to finasteride by the looks of your hair in those pictures. Good luck!

My hair loss started at 32 as well by the way, im 34 now. i did all the natural dht blockers as soon as i saw the first lil sign of hair loss. My hair did ok but slowly over the 2 years i started losing the battle at my temples a bit. Ive been on finasteride 3.5 months now

I'm 32, been on finasteride for 2 weeks now. I hope it's not too late and my hairline can progress a little bit, and my diffuse thinning can thicken a little bit.

I don't see hair loss. Can you provide better photos?

crappy front photo doesn't show the extent, but it's basically all just fluff at the front/on forehead - i leave that part longer & i comb it to the right and then pat it down forward...wind blows it apart anyway & i look ridiculous.
you can definitely see the loss on the crown though, no?

...to SonicBlu : my hairloss started @ 20, not 32. it's been a slow progression... but now it's to the point where i'm looking @ possibly doing finasteride.
the sexual sides don't bother me, really - but the apparent mental effects do.

anyway, thanks. i'll try and get some more photos up soon.
