3 Days off minoxidil and shed?

I took 3 days off minoxidil last month (had a chick over for an extended period) and didn't apply because I didn't want her to know, plus didn't want to deal with any dandruff. Now a month later, I'm noticing significantly more hair coming out in the shower than usual.

Is is possible that those 3 days off started my hairloss problem all over, or could this just be another normal shed - in which case leads to another question - how many sheds can one expect in a normal minoxidil year?

I would say it is most likely unrelated. 3 days will not cause a severe loss. It is probably just a normal shed.

Yea, trudat. I've been off minoxidil for almost a month due to financial issues... And I'm just mildly shedding. I'm even attributing it to a normal shedding cycle cuz this is about the time it would occur anyhow (5 months)
