things still going great, vertex is filling in and getting darker with plenty of nice longer transparent vellus hairs that I noticed just last week. The top is darker and thicker and the thing that surprises the hell out of me is my right temple, which was always worse than my left temple.

It's coming in even better than my left temple. It looks liek it's even going to surpass my left temple because of all the 1/3 inch new small dark hairs that's filling in. Im 30 now, slowly losing hair since 17, and it looks like im getting a hairline that I don't ever remeber having, except maybe when I was a young boy.

The other areas are typical I'd imagine for a good responder, but the right temple is showing real signs of going well above and beyond what I'd imagine I would regain. The new small 'dark' hairs are filled in about a half inch in front of my pre-existing hairline, not to mention the still vellus small hairs a whole inch in front.

So, going pretty good so far..

regarding the zinc dosage...

this is a quote from tom hagerty on hairloss-reversable...

"I'd be careful about gulping down too much zinc suppliments as that can also cause hair loss. I recommend you take a multi-vitamin pill every other day and see if your hair comes back in the next few months. That should have all the zinc and selenium your body needs - if indeed that is what is causing your hair loss to begin with."

you really are overdosing on the zinc and it cant be good. like i told you, 18 mg would've been more than enough. "a multivitamin every other day would have all the zinc your body needs"....too much of a good thing?

well, im not LOSING hair at htis point. If somebody else comes on here and tells me to lose the Zinc, then I guess I will. I have heard from other sources that taking around 45 mg is fine. You're not supposed to go over 100 mg (from what I've read). My Zinc pills are each 50mg. This 'supplement' is much higher than 18mg. I dont' think they'd have 50 mg pills on the market if it was close to being a danger with even the addition of ZInc you'd get from a diet. You're confusing me here, Lag..
