Just when you think you have everything under control. It's like male pattern baldness says to itself "this recession thing is just taking too long" and then starts thinning the already weak hair.

Certainly this year its doing something, my hair is thinner - my left side - which has always been worse - is alarmingly more see-through. The front of my hairline is a mess, badly thinned on the left, itchy as well!

I've already added 2% spironolactone (3 weeks in) - I'm getting some flaking so I'm not sure if I'm using too much or not (trying 1ml x2 per day). Also, I'm not even sure how the hell to apply the stuff - parting the thinning area and rolling down or just dabbing along the hairline? Any help on that appreciated.

As mentioned a week or two back, I'm giving some consideration to using Dutasteride if things get worse. I don't know if it can do anything that propecia isn't already doing. Anyone been in a similar position?

Check the photos, especially the ones without flash on the hairline around September as they show the thinning at the front begining.

Thanks.

Truly, I dont see a difference. Your hair is shorter now and when you pull your hair back it seem like there less hair. But because your hair is shorter, it seem like your hair weight is lighter and making it seem like your have thinner hair or less of it. Stay with what you have now and things are still ok. When my hair gets 2 inches and I try to pull it but it seem like I have thinner hair. It's all in your mind.

Well, time will tell. I don't think my (now broken on holiday) camera was capable of showing it. I fear I'm right, but I'll give it a while.

Thanks Act1on.
