He thinks that because he has had no results, nothing will ever cure hair loss. He gave me a negative rep like I care. Weird guy.

Fantastic Results! I can see the difference. "Definitely looks like you have more hair but you should get a hair cut to get a true comparison." I have always found that the longer my hair is the thinner it looks.

FredTheBelgian is getting so much hate because he has been known to spread lies knowingly, claiming to act "in the interest of newbies". He needs to derail every thread (like this one) because he thinks that his and only his ways are true. Many forum members including me have told him many times that we are quite aware of the fact that our trials will probably not find a solution to hairloss. But that's what mankind has done forever: Try and fail, try and fail, try and fail, until eventually and finally a solution has been found. Until then, we will fail many times, and the likelihood of us failing rather than succeeding is quite high.

The problem is: Fred doesnt stand that. He thinks that his attitue (i.e. giving up and whining) is the only right thing and thus feels the need to push it on everyone else. We have tried many times to explain to him that we will conduct community trials in spite of us likely failing. We have told him many times to stay out of any threads where we just try something new. But his excuse to keep on spamming wrong information on purpose is that he says he wants to protect newbies.

That is the short story of why Fred is hated so much. In my opinion, newbies should be protected from him, given how he spreads false information "in their best interest".

Edit: And now he's given negative reputation to this post. Can't get much more pathetic.

benjt hits nail on head.
the whole point of all this is to keep trying and failing or succeeding.
embrace failure, not fear it like fred the baby.

does anyone remember princess rambos results?
they were amazing!

there are too many factors involved in all this to
be pessimistic and blame it all on genes and say
'there's nothing you can do'...

the guy immortal hair gets a lot of bashing on
here, but he has a load of great knowledge
and views on all this.

Though he does not uses finasteride, princessRambo has a very complex internal and topical regimen too...

I'm not saying the dermaroller does not work, but we can't say his results are completely due to it and minoxidil...

Maybe we should put more attention to the rest of his treatment too. (Though it must be expensive as hell).

I think it points to the fact that there's no magic bullet so to speak.
A multi-faceted approach is definitely needed, physical and mental.

PR said he wanted to become an equol producer, and this is linked to gut health
and gut health can link to inflammation etc etc...

let's all keep supporting each other and ignore any moaning talks.

I think parts of what FredTheBelgian says, are true:

2young2retire is (almost) new to minoxidil - i also had a severe regroth on minoxidil only.
as posted some weeks before, one has to keep in mind that the minoxidil effects decrease after ~1 year. And @2y2r - if in ~6 months you start losing a lot of hair, people will remind you of FredTheBelgian's warning, not(!) to stop minoxidil. Hairloss and growth are processes with a high intertance (that means, effects are seen only after a certain amount of time, not at once).

Plus many others on this forum use dermarolling too - and dont have this results - and what do we conclude from that?
Well squeegee might have said: 1. they are impatient (but for 2y2r it worked after a few rolls only) - 2. they don't roll hard enough.
I think, so far only these have major results that are minoxidil-Virgins. DR might therefore not be a/the cure. But maybe (hopefully) I am wrong and in 12 months people start posting "New hairs are suddenly growing everywhere" :)

Thanks anyway for your effort and posts. Just don't be too happy too soon. If you still have that much hair in five years, that's the point were you can be super happy.

I've only posted a handful of times on this forum and Fred has given me a negative reputation every time.

If minoxidil is so great, why are you bald, Fred? P.S. Keep the negative reps coming, red is my favorite color!

Fred likes to bash all of these experimental treatments yet he can't help but try them himself trying to prove to people that nothing works. My guess is the reason they don't work is because in his mind, he already doesn't believe it.

I strongly believe that our thoughts carry energy. 2young has been very positive and excited about dermarolling from the beginning and even compared it to losing his virginity to an escort lol. Keep it up 2young, you're an inspiration.

The opposite of the placebo effect is called nocebo. This is the karma that Fred receives for being negative 100% of the time. Fred deserves his baldness :)

Thank you for your answer. Yes, this could be a reason.
Seeing photos of at least two people with a head full of blood, I doubt that people don't roll hard enough.

I think its more about where they roll, im sure its way easyer to achieve regrowth in the crown area then on the temples.

bbq guy?

really? there is no shortcuts. wound hard you get benefit from it. the amount of benefit ofcourse depends on wounding amount - wounding method- wounding frequency- wounding depth-remaining hair for factors to migrate. NO PAIN NO GAIN

DSC07677.jpgDSC07680.jpgDSC07683.jpg atmosphere humidify is like 95% itbeen raining for 3 days. so the watery you see is not oily hair but kinda wet of raining weather. pics under high light.

i know the comb doesnt serve the scientific reason of proof in the hairline pic although from one side i experience more regrowth. right side seems to resist.

Guys , Guys , Please stop arguing ! we are really here to help each other right? I'm really happy that 2young got a good result and its good to SOME different opinion like Fred here ! But 2young didn't use minoxidil enough so he will not lose hair because of minoxidil and as a person who study medical I believe he does not get the result because of 4-5 weeks using minoxidil for 4 times in a day ! I really hate those post which squeegee made many insult to fred! and finally he got banned ! It has stopped me to follow the thread for 2 weeks and I saw many others discourage too ! So please do not go to that route again !

NO ONE DESERVE BALDNESS ! Not fred not anyone else ! Even the energy and positive feeling is important but its not everything ! We should not insult to fred
if he lost his hair ! Thats not fair. Even he has some negative feeling ! So please do not go off-topic and attacking to each other ! I wish everyone would get the good result like 2young ! We keep rolling and posting the update ! Peace

I agree with Parsia, we should spread the love. Thank you 2young for your inspiring log. Fred, no matter how much of an outcast you are, I love you too. Now, 2young, I am on a similar schedule as you. Instead of DR'ing, I am scratching my scalp till it gets really red for like 10 mins. I see a very thin layer of newly sprout hairs that are getting longer and longer. Do you think that our temples will fill in? Are you using/ planning on using extra supplements to accelerate growth?

i believe that if we add sth potent we may be able to grow them. but rewounding the area might also work. no no for now..

BBQ guy and the science behind wound healing released factors. and ofcourse the hole biochemical enviroment we crete is full of stemcells etc....
Jesus Christ man... What makes you think you have to roll that hard???? That's extreme.
