Started taking Proscar about 5 years ago and responded pretty well and noticed improvement by month 2 (Hair thicker and new hair sprouting) but I declined a bit by month 6 due to me missing weeks on end of not taking it and got lazy and couldnt afford it.
I decided over 2 months ago to do something about it again and bought myself some proscar and nizoral and same story as before. Month 2 is when i started noticing improvement. Hair is thicker and darker and plenty of new small hairs on the hairline and plenty of blonde vellus hairs and fuzz on the crown. I'm 36 years old NW3 and it actually seems to be working better for me this time around. Gonna stick with it this time and see what happens in a years time before adding minoxidil. Hoping I wont have to be a slave to that tho. Fingers crossed..
