Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I started noticing my hair starting to thin when i was 21, now 28. In that time frame i have been on propecia for the last four years and minoxidil off and on. Now i just got some oral minoxidil i have been taking for 3 weeks maybe. I read this on here a lot but i feel like propecia isnt working. i still have hair, but it is really noticeable now. My hairline has always been ok, but it seems to have just gone to **** within the last 6 months. I am starting to get more and more self conscious about it. I feel like its making me crazy, like i would go to extremes to have normal hair again. I always had thick hair which makes it look like i have more hair than i do. I serrriously hope a cure or something comes out because this is a legit nightmare! I would appreciate any recommendations or advice. :freak:

Short of dutasteride or RU your doing everything possible via medication. The only step beyond this is a hair transplant. We're all hanging on until something better comes out.

Didn't think oral minoxidil was a good idea, due to sides? I know topical minoxidil needs to be taken consistently. Have you tried a concealer like toppik? Would help mask your loss in the mean time.
