Good Afternoon guys,

Ive just been to a new barbers and I've been told that my hair is really thinning, I am only 28 and really wasn't expecting this to happen so soon.

I would be very grateful if you could let me know if this is true and if I can do anything about it.

The 3rd picture I've uploaded I am pulling my fridge down a little

How long untill I need a comb-over

Thanks for your time

Sonic

Ya looks like diffuse frontal thinning dude. We’re in the same boat, 28 year old diffuse thinners

Yeah , what the above poster said . As for doing somethig about it , you could try minoxidil and finasteride, i think they should help you keep your hair for longer and maybe even thicken it up

if you just noticed it it probably means it's just gotten aggressive. lots of members here have started losing it right around or before they turned 18. see a specialist man. if it's male pattern baldness it's time to get on the big 3 like the rest of us asap. wait a couple of years you might not have much to save

Gosh, are you guys sure it's baldness?

To be honest I have been dealing with a huge amount of stress and health issues, this is the last thing I need.

Ya man stress sets it off it seems...

Sorry man. Good news is with rogaine and propecia you have a 91% chance of having the same or more hair count 365 days from now. It’s worth a shot.

You are balding dude. You have the same hair as me and im 21. You probably started at like 25 or even earlier considering how unaware you are about all of this. Depending on how aggressive it has become you might have a chance with meds. How is your family history of hairloss? Did your dad go bald young?

I'm currently taking thyroid and testosterone replacement due to a past medical condition.

I have spent the last 3 hours researching and I believe it may have something to do with that.

I live in the UK, do any of you guys know if any treatments are available on the NHS?

Thanks
