So I just recently starting worrying about my hairline the last 2 years. My dad has male pattern baldness and so does his dad (my grandpa) all other parts of my family have full heads of hair. I checked the crown of my head and didn’t notice any thinning or bald spots there. It’s mostly just my my temples in the M shape I’ve read about. Any help or advice would be great thanks!

Why do I have to tell you how bad it is? It's all relative and you can see yourself. It's male pattern baldness alright, but you probably won't lose it all within the next few years, although nothing is unheard of with this stupid disease.

I guess you don’t? I was just asking opinions for my sanity. I didn’t want to be over paranoid or in denial about it. Just wanted to know things like is it possible this is just my natural hairline and it won’t recede further etc.

You are receding . Probably most would say NW2.5 . You will continue to lose your hair if you dont start treatments.
