26 year old needs advice

Hi Guys,

I am a 26 year old guy.........and yeah I am balding..
I will post my pics here soon...
I have tried saw palmetto, and lot of snake oil kinda treatments....no has worked well, I would say..I use Nizoral and my hair has become real dry I guess......
Now after much deliberation (I wanted to stay away from real drugs), I ordered provillus. I read that it has monoxidil as well....so I thought I will give it a try for 5-6 months, then if nothing works, I will start with propecia. My only worry is that if I start taking propecia from the time I am 26..........I will have to take it forever, I guess.
Is this a good plan guys?
Also guys, will minoxidil/provillus/propecia grow new hair in already receded areas?
PLease guys help me......

Its a good plan if you want to keep your hair.

HI Guys,

As mentioned, I have attached my pics.
ell I ave started Provillus (minoxidil + saw palmetto) now....
The stuff feels really sticky and my worry now is that I may lose the hair I have now...but I am gonna persist..
Any advise guys........?

I suggest you get on finasteride.

LOOK. Get on finasteride YESTERDAY! finasteride can halt your hair loss.

You don't think Minoxidil is not a drug that has to be used forever? Minoxidil won't stop your hair loss.

Also use Nizoral. After you stabilize with the finasteride a year or so then think about the Minoxidil if you think you need it.

If you keep waiting around you won't have anything left to save with finasteride. :smack:

I don't know why you've stopped saw palmetto and started on provillus. Provillus is, essentially, saw palmetto.

i still don't get why people are so put off by having to take finasteride *gasp* for the rest of my life!

wait, are you saying i have to brush my teeth for the REST OF MY LIFE??

ok, but seriously it's really not that big of a deal. finasteride is the only real cure for hair loss. if you combine it with minoxidil foam you've got a great chance to regrow a lot of hair since your loss is mostly in the crown.

Provillus is simply OVERPRICED Saw Palmetto. If you want to try Saw P. just buy it at your local store (SawP. Extract) and save yourself alot of money. That company has done nothing but spam all the hair loss forums for years and overcharged people for the basics (Saw Palmetto and minoxidil).
