A little less then a year ago, I woke up one day and noticed my hairline had receded, what seemed like over night. I didnt think anything of it because it wasn't really noticible after I combed my hair. 4 months later my hair had thinned dramatically. After getting out of the shower at this point I look ridiculous. You can see more scalp than hair when it is completely soaked. After combing it and letting it dry it looks thinner than it did 2 years ago But not really noticable, except for my crown. My crown has noticeable thinning, but not terrible yet. Overall it looks okay as long as it is clean and dry. I am a decent looking guy and am used to dating absolutely gorgeous woman. I'm talking stupid gorgeous by anyone's standards. I don't know how I pull them but I do. This is my main concern with going bald. My current girlfriend of over a year is a lingerie model and is absolutely beautiful. We live together, and have a great relationship. Here lately my thinning has really really depressed me periodically. It's to the point to where I'm so scared of going bald, and her leaving me that I feel I should make up a reason to break it off and go hide in the woods and wait to die or something. I am mortified. I feel like a ticking time bomb.
I've been on finasteride alone for four months and that is all. I feel like it has maintained after the initial shedding phase. After researching a bit more I now think I'm going to start nizoral shampoo and rogaine starting tomorrow. I have plenty of money and will pay whatever I have to to keep my hair. I also take biotin and a multivitamin every day.
If anyone has any tips or success stories I'd love to hear them. Because at this very moment I am so discouraged. I'll share my results because I really have No one to talk to about this except all of you! Thanks.
