Hi all. On and off reader of this forum but have decided to finally ask for advice. I often come to terms with my hair loss but then have the wind just ruin all of that. I'm okay with the general condition but it's just the front island I hate and want to try to maintain what I have.

I've considered all options and could go for a hair transplant but not sure on something so drastic.

Appreciate any advice

I was in same exact position at 26. I did transplant, then a 2nd procedure, and now a 3rd. Hair transplant at 25 isn't good (at least for me it wasn't). You'll lose more hair and the transplanted hairs will never look as natural or thick as before.

I suggest just buzz it short.

Thanks for the advice. Do you take any of the drugs? and what type of transplant did you get?

I originally had 3500 graft fue. It gave me shock loss in the recipient area which never grew back and gotten even more bald (balding at rapid pace). Got 4000 graft FUT in my second procedure from recommended dr. Results are subpar and left with scar. Considering final transplant + smp.

Trust me, just buzz it off. Save yourself time, money, and headache.

Don't worry about hair transplant treatment. You should go for a hair transplant treatment. There is the latest medical technologies and equipment available for the hair transplant surgery. There are two main ways in which donor grafts are extracted these are FUHT and FUE. So, FUHT is a well-known technique for removing hair follicles from a donor site. FUHT is the best treatment as compared to FUE.

Is there no one to stick up for the drugs? Seems to be a pretty negative opinion on here

I would suggest propecia and rogaine. I experienced no negative side effects. You would need to be on propecia anyway if you got a hair transplant to help prevent further loss.

25 is quite young to go for a transplant. I would suggest trying what I recommended first. You will need to stabilize your hairloss first and you never know, you may respond well to rogaine. But this is just my opinion, perhaps others who are at the same level of hairloss as you have had successful experiences with transplants at this age, but be prepared for the fact that you may need to go for further procedures in the future if hairloss continues.
