I'm 24 now and just coming out of my hair loss denial / "it's just a mature hairline bro" phase to accept it and treat it, I've always had a high hairline but have definitely noticed some level of recession over the last few years, my hairline isn't too bad yet and my hair is still thick so I pull off decent hairstyles but I certainly want to treat it asap, I have zero crown/top thinning as of yet, just loss at the temples.

I don't want to take any drugs for my own reasons, however, I am planning on getting a hair transplant to fill in the hairline, my male pattern baldness seems to be following my father's pattern, very slow with no crown balding just slow thinning and Temple loss. He's now late 50's and has a full crown and some remaining hair at the top and front probably a norwood 3-4, I believe with a hairline transplant I can maintain a good level of coverage until I hit 35-40 when I may look into getting a second transplant to fill in the thinning hair on the top of my head if my male pattern baldness continues.

Anyway please rate where you think I currently stand on the scale, how severe you think it is and if you think a hair transplant is a good idea. Also if you think that based on my photos I may go completely bald one day.

Cheers!

I would say a Norwood 2. I was a Norwood two but in a matter of a year I started thinning all over on top. It's in my genetics though tonbe fully bald on top. If there is no one in your family that is completely bald I would wait until at least Norwood 3 to get a hair transplant. If you are Norwood 3 anytime soon and don't plan on taking meds, I would not get a hair transplant.
