Whats going on guys! So I've been dealing with my hair loss for as far as I can remember now. I'm 24 years old, and the first time I remember losing my hair was probably in high school. I would have to say my hairline wasn't always that nice, but the diffuse thinning really started to kick in when I was 16-17. It really took a toll on my confidence, but I learned to just not let it bother me. I've been able to style it in a way where it doesn't look too bad but lately its just starting to get too thin, and I think I still have time to fight it off! Not exactly sure where to start, but I've been considering starting with ketoconazole shampoo along with finasteride, and then hopping on minoxidil. I guess I've been too afraid to start finasteride in case of the sides. So I guess I'm just asking for any suggestions or personal stories? Any advice would be awesome, I would like to get started on this sooner rather than later. Ive attached some photos now vs the first ever pic i took in high school. To be honest I dont think my hair looks terrible now but my crown has been thinning enough to the point where its starting to become visible under light.

Finasteride for 1 year then apply rogaine if you aren't happy with results. If neither work then it's basically surgery. Usually regrowth happens on the crown for both minoxidil and finasteride.
