What are your thoughts on my hairline? What stage am I at and can you guess where I will experience further hair loss? I have a dermatologist appoint in about a month, and may also schedule an appoint with a hair specialist to get prescribed medication -- but first I would like to know from you all the best course of action.

I only first discovered my hairline may be receding about a month ago. It seems to be pretty bad, though I've always had a very unusual hairline. I'd like any advice I can get. Thank you!

Compare yourself to older photos, have you had the same hairline or has it receded? It might be maturing, we all develop a mature hairline, just keep an eye on it, and use some oils to keep your conscience clear, whatever you do, never get on Propecia/Finesteride if you value your dick and balls. Many will start popping up with propecia comments, they're either too stupid or too jealous that you still have your balls.

The only advice I can give you now, enjoy your hair as much as possible, get laid as much as possible, STAY FIT (If you're gonna go bald one day, better be bald and sexy instead of Homer Simpson) and it's not the end of the world, I've fallen into fatal depression because of it and I still am not sure if I'm losing my hair but I'm dead scared. Remember, in 5 years there will be stem cell surgery, and wigs and FUE transplants are always available.

If you have any further questions feel free to PM me.

Wesley, you are an actual idiot. Everything you just said is idiotic and opinionated.

Grr23, its worth a shot with finasteride, as it works, and for the majority of us we suffer no sides. Your hair line does look strong so I wouldn't bother with anything like
Minoxidil as that is targeted towards regrowth and not maintenance, though it might help. Treating it now means you have a great chance of keeping your hair
for a very long time.

I'm not an idiot, it would be unwise to go on Finasteride, it's a dick poison drug, you know it and so does everyone, it biologically shuts down your fertility, and the mechanism by which it alters your sexuality is still unknown by science, so if you suffer sides, you are officially and legitimately ****ED. You don't believe me? Look up "Kevin Malley" the only victim who shined live on TV. Or better yet? Here, go here http://www.propeciahelp.com and tell me who's the idiot.

And don't insult me because I'm trying to help a guy out and at the same time saving his sexuality and his life from depression and suicide. What do you know about medicine? Don't go around prescribing this poison to people who don't know what it really is including YOU! Consider yourself lucky if you haven't experienced sides.

Kudos.

Highlighted and just sat here laughing.

Thanks for the replies. Good to know I probably have male pattern baldness. I'll try to get on Propecia. Should I just buy it online or get it a prescription from my dermatologist next month or schedule a hair transplant doctor? What I'm worried about is that my dermatologist won't take my problems seriously and/or tell me to keep track of it and come back in a few years. Basically everyone so far has laughed off my hair loss concerns.

I am also wondering about my crown. I think it's fairly thick, but you all might detect something in my cowlick/part that I can't.

Anyway, thanks again for your help and I'll keep you updated.

Edit:

Well, huh. My hairline looks a lot fuller at this angle. I guess this might be less cause for concern than I thought.
