22 years old, receding hairline (pictures)

Hi,

I've noticed my hairline has started to recede, and I want to do something about. Do you think I should go on the big 3 or just stick with one treatment for now? I'm already using Nizoral. Here are some pictures.

You are probably right, but it's a bit too pricey for me at the moment, and maybe too soon? I will go on meds and see if that does me any good. If not then hair transplant is something I will definitely consider, when I'm a bit older. Plus I'm curious to see what's going to come of hair cloning, shouldn't be too long before that's available.

good thinking, just use he meds to hold on to what you have, and plan for the next step when you are older.

I do agree that you are a little too young to consider a hair transplant.

I seem to be responding pretty well to just Rogaine and Nizoral, I've noticed a lot of very small dark hairs growing all over my temple area, at first they started out very light and tiny, but have gotten much darker. Will they grow into longer hairs?

Your hair looks super thick despite your receaded temples. Propecia should be able to maintain that for you. I think you should definitely try some Rogaine Foam on the hairline. Give it a good 12 months.

I think if you can maintain that level of thickness for the next 5 years your an awesome candidate for a hair transplant to the temples with Armani.

Ps. Your crown is fine. No balding there.
