Hey Guys,
Here's my deal, except for propecia, I'm extremely sensitive to treatments
Rogaine makes my scalp break out in acne, and causes much irritation acne, and headaches.
Likewise, Nizoral cause further hair loss, making my break out w/ acne.
Without nizoral, I am on Intensive Treatment Head & Shoulders w/ the active ingredient of Selenium Sulfide that seems to keep the inflamation/dermatitus down. I've tried T-sal, T-gel and Nioxin. None seem to work. This seems to be my best option, which while mild, does still dry out my hair a fair bit.
Tonight I just ordered the 540 Minoxidil 5% without Propylene Glycol, 65 mL from http://www.minoxidil.com that is supposed cause less irritation. Should this help me with my problem?
I've been on Propecia off and one of nearly 1 1/2 years (stupid.. I know) anyways.. Before visiting this site I would hit the 3-5 month range and go through much shedding...be convinced it isn’t working and quit. As soon as I quit, the hair loss completely stopped for 1-2 week and then continued as normal. To this point I now see that it was getting rid of the hairs infected w/ DHT allowing them to come back later. Thus explaining why it stopped briefly. Do you agree that it proves it was working?
I've have been on propecia non-stop for exactly 3 months now. I'm shedding like before.. only this time im going to give it the 12 months.
Can anyone suggest any scalp moisturizing conditioners? In addition,(random question) can using a blow drier or biking w/o helmet w/ much wind cause premature fall of hair.
Thanks for taking the time to read. Any response is appreciated.
Thank You,
