For the past few days ive been worried that my hair is thinning, my mothers father is bald and one of my uncles is. I have an appointment with my gp Monday and was gonna ask them but I'm worried its thinning. If anyone could tell me what im dealing with id be very grateful.

Your right temple has begun to recede . Your left one looks okay for now but given your age and current hair density I would say it’s safe to say the process has started for you and you’ll have to consider treatments unless you’re okay with losing your hair

I definitely understand what your saying im gonna see my doctor and a dermatologist to figure everything out for sure.

That’s a good call, it’s better to know for sure than not. That definitely applies to most situations in life, but with the hair it’s doubly so given the stakes involved. Sorry if it came across harshly, but Ive always believed that when the chips are down and the stakes established it’s the best thing you can do for someone.

My temples have always looked the same way ive had a weird hairline forever. My gp canceled on me today so i got a hair cut instead . Ive been told by a few people in person that i just have fine hair but i think its thinning. I don't want to take Finasteride because of the side effects are there any other options?
