Hello. So I just turned 21 and i've never thought about my hairline until recently someone said that I have a very "square" forehead. I wondered what that meant and looked at my forehead more closely in the mirror and wondered if it had to do with my hairline being abnormal and/or receding? I think there are some definite signs of a receding hairline, but i'm not sure if they are normal for my age or what.
My mom's side of the family all have completely full heads of hair, including her father, brothers, etc. My dad has a decent amount of hair for his age (55) but he has some hairloss.
The first image is a "before" shot of me back when I was about 18 years old (i'm 21 now), the second image is of me about 2 months ago, and the remaining images I took an hour ago to show the other angles of my hairline. The before image is a bit obscured, but it seems my hairline has not changed that much (if at all?) over the past couple of years, however, it's kind of hard for me to tell.
I have never noticed hairs falling out or thinning of the hair in any area but would really appreciate what you guys think. Should I see a dermatologist about this?
