Hi everyone, I've been on finasteride since July 2015 with no side effects other than testicular ache for the first 1.5 months.
Around July 2016 I started noticing hair falling out in the shower again. Over the next few months my hair has started to thin and miniaturize. Noticing the amount of hair that is falling out is about the same amount pre-finasteride. It really sucks because before July this year finasteride stopped my hairloss in its tracks. Actually got a tiny bit of regrowth too.
Currently taking, 1mg finasteride every day at night.
Nothing else.
The main issue I have with minoxidil is that I simply don't know if I would keep up with it. The thought of having to put something in my hair every night and morning for as long as I want to keep my hair sucks I guess. I also hear that minoxidil starts to lose effectiveness after two years so would I just be buying time until I need to jump on dutasteride?
