Your "doctor" is an idiot. He should have given you a prescription instead of telling you to buy it off the internet. wow :dunno:
I would go see a dermatologist. Also, you might consider using rogaine if your not already. my 2 cents.

You have black hair so maybe you would benefit from using derm (for a quick fix).

Yea get on finasteride, rogaine, nizoral, if you don't experience any sides, stay on the finasteride for at least a year, Re evaluate your hairloss at that time, And if you seem to have responded, look into getting a hair transplant.

Quite advanced loss for 21. Maybe getting a hair transplant at such a young age would'nt be a good idea.

What kind of a doctor tells his patient to get a prescription drug off of E-Bay? Wow.....

Sorry, just to clarify, did you mean getting a hair transplant would be a good idea or wouldn't?
Also, should I try finasteride + rogaine regime first or should I start looking at hair transplant anyway?

Pretty sure he meant it would NOT be a good idea, because at that age your hairloss hasn't stabilized yet.

Definitely jump on meds, as there is a good chance you might be a good responder since you're only 21.
