2017. What Can I Expect Personally?

So I've been on Finasteride & Minoxidil for 6 months now and I must say it has work to some degree. I had a big shed that starting after about 2 months and lasted until the 4th month. After that I had some regrowth and a stable situation. The days of seeing hair everywhere like before I started treatment are over, I'm very pleased about that.

I'm currently having some sort of mini shed, if that's even a thing. I don't mind it that much because the first time that happened the hairs came back stronger.

My question... I've been treating hair loss for 6 months now, so what can I expect in 2017? I see so many little hairs popping up on my scalp, but I feel like they need more time to push through and become terminal.

So Finasteride and Minoxidil has worked, to some degree? Please elaborate. I assume you're hair loss is mostly stabilized since you mentioned that seeing hair everywhere is no more, which of course is an excellent thing.

I think us Male Pattern Baldness sufferers are always going through some sort of minor shed even if hair loss is 100% stabilized. DHT and other genetic factors are always disrupting the growth cycle our hair so seeing a complete halt of any shed is unlikely. For 2017, if treatment continues to stabilize your hair loss, you can only expect improvement. Six months is still not enough time for any final result, one more year at the very least is needed for that.

Yes, they both worked. I feel like finasteride did 75% and minoxidil 25%. I have nothing to complain about to be honest but I'm hoping for a lot more regrowth this year. It sure looks like there's happening a lot on my scalp! In a good way :)
