2012 finasteride dosages..

What is the standard for finasteride doseage?

I am slowly receeding in the temporal areas (rest of head is fine) and have thin hair.

I'm currently taking 1.25 evey mon / wed / fri with no sdes. finasteride has made the rest of my hair feel thicker, so maybe an increase would help battle the tougher hairline areas?

With that said, should i be upping that to every other day as i go 2 days without finasteride between fri-mon? What about everyday?

Standard dose is 1mg everyday, yes trying upping to 1.25mg everyday.

You could also try Nizoral 2% 2-3 times per week which contains Ketoconazole which is a mild anti-androgen. You could also try topical spironolactone which is a weak-mild anti-androgen. Good luck.
