In old photos (4+ years ago until now) I can still see some recession but my short hair used to just cover almost everything up, so I'm not sure if it looks the same or if it actually got bigger.
Didn't notice any increase in shedding and can't find any kind of change in density (but I know almost nothing about hairloss). My mother's family doesn't have a history with hairloss, but my father's side has, men start to notice around 35 yrs.
Will see a dermatologist in 2 weeks.
