If you have experienced massive shed recently, then it is probably just the shed, I think you shouldn't be stopping it, because it is coming back. Your miniaturized follicles need to drop off for new ones to get in. This is my opinion, the oldest members could tell you better.

Can you post any pictures?

One thing about hair regrowth, it's very much about patience. I think it would be unwise to quit, just carry on for at least a year

Yup. The ups and downs of fighting hairloss sucks.

Continue brother... There is NO reason finasteride can do harm.
At worst is not working. Surely it will help you maintain. Probably you will regrow hair!

So stick it up. You have nothing to loose

I fear that if i continue for one year it will be worst and just speeding the balding process

I have heard many stop treating their hair loss because they feel the same way. My feeling is if you stop you will definitely progress. At least if you treat your hair loss you are giving yourself a chance at improving.

I'm three months in, and I seem to have slightly worse coverage. But its early, and its not like stopping is going to solve the problem. Calm down and give it time.
