19yo Yearly Update..how Bad Is It Now

Hello everyone.
My hairline's been receding since I was about 14/15. However I noticed it a bit before I turned 17. Since then I posted threads about my hair about once a year.

I'm still using minoxidil daily tho I've been slacking a lot.
My hair has obviously thinned and receded a bit in a past year, but I'm not really sure how bad is it. I always told myself I'll start finasteride when it gets too bad. Is now the time?

It's not bad but the thing is you're a little young to start propecia you could technically start it at 18 but my derm wouldn't prescribe it until I was at least 21, some even say not until 25. You could try experimentals like CB to avoid systematic anti androgen sides but those will bring a different set of risks. It's up to you though if you want to take the risk to secure your hair with propecia. Personally I'd get on finasteride, but it all depends how important your hair is to you.

Yea I thought I might wait a couple of months or maybe a year since I'm still young and it's not too agressive. I'm ok with the hairline I have rn cuz I can still style my hair in a way it doesn't make it noticeable. I don't wanna mess with experimentals tho and I'll probably order finasteride on some website.

You're probably right but I'm still gonna wait a bit and I have to try it first to see if I get any sides

You can also try doing really small doses like .25 eod or something in the beggining, as of rn I'd say get on nizoral and maybe try fluridil also known as eucapil to try to hold you off till finasteride

Yea my plan was to start with 0.25mg doses and see how it goes. I've been using nizoral for a year and a half (ran out of it last month and gotta get new one). I'll check this fluridil thing. Do you maybe know where is it being sold?

I saw it on Amazon, you could definitely get it on eBay though
