I'm 19 and have been noticing that I can see my scalp more and under the light. The main part of the scalp I'm seeing is the front hair behind my hairline. Does anybody else who suffers from diffuse thinning see this? I don't sheed alot only in the shower. I took some pics with wet hair and without wet hair. I went to doctor back in January and she told I was not balding. But now I'm not sure about that.I've been thimking on getting on Rogaine and using Dht blocking Shampoo with thicking Shampoo

It was always common, the internet makes it seem more common though.

OP it could very well be the early signs or it could just be a thinning period. We cannot say for certain but if you have been noting long term that your hair feels less thick and then you start to see the scalp, it is a sign that it is male pattern baldness. If you add family history then you should start treatment.

Finasteride will be an important thing to have and may be all you need. If you do not want to take this, then Rogaine (foam if you have sensitive skin) and Nizoral and perhaps a caffeine containing shampoo will be good to use.

Yes, when I think upon it, you are absolutely right my friend, balding is not a new curse on new generations, it was always common.
