Hi everyone, I'm an 18 years old that started losing hair about 1 year ago.
My father is bald so i kind of expected it but not this soon.

I went fast to a trichologist that explained me the option i had, suggesting a laser therapy with a so caller 'retard' medicin.

I didn't get all my hairs back, but it stopped the Hair loss and some hairs even regrowth. The therapy lasted three months once a week, and ended about 5 months ago.

The doctor told me that i should've come back for a visit in one year, so he could check if everything was alright, problem is that today i looked into the shower and found a lot of hair (60-80) that i lost during only that shower.
I wash them every two days with a specified shampoo the doctor suggested (nothing particular, just a non-aggressive one ), but i'm scared i will soon lose all my hair.

Is it normal to lose those many hairs? I didn't check everytime but i don't think i was losing so many during the treatment and after it. Should i jump on finasteride? (the Doctor told me that it was too son and that there were some cons, and he didn't suggest me to take them).

What do you think? I'd like to hear someone else's opinion on this because I'm getting really nervous about losing my hair and most of you know how bad it is to constantly check your hair.

Hi mate, post photos up. There are some very knowledgeable posters on here and it's easier for people to give advice if they can see your current situation because there may have been others with similar patterns and loss
