Since October 2018 I've been shedding massive amounts of hair. I had a full grown head of hair, front, sides, temples, maybe I even had a bit too much.

I went to a dermatologist and he didn't even look at my hair, "Just apply some minoxidil you'll be fine". Then I went to another one "This will stop eventually, not soon but eventually, don't worry".

As you guys are probably the biggest experts on the matter I wanted to ask for your opinion. There's a link to my head photos as well as a table with the amounts of hair strands I counted falling out of my head each day. (I was paranoid and still am, please help me).

The shedding has continued to increase reaching more than 300 hairs on 2 or 3 different days.

I tried multiple hair growth shampoos, stop shedding shampoos, and I've been on finasteride for almost a month.

I simply want to know if it's Areata, or DHT, or Telogen effluvium, or something else, so please tell me your theories and opinions.

You actually counted the hair you noticed falling? You're crazy, lol. You are going to lose even more hair if you let your hair loss wrap itself around your brain that way.

Go to a different doctor and get a diagnosis and work from there.

Yeah I counted them, I used those devices that trap them at the shower hole making it way easier though. And I kind of have suffer OCD (So I guess you could say I'm kind of crazy) since I was a child in respect to my hair so that should explain the rest.

Thanks so much for the advice, it's not losing hair that bothers me as much as not knowing what's going on. I've already went to 2 doctors, one didn't even looked at my hair and said "Apply Minoxidil". The other one ignored me and even though I passed my hand through my hair and ended up with 10 hairs on it, for like 6 times in a row in front of him, he still insisted I was fine.

I should also clarify the hairs all had the white bulb at the end.

hey, I've been loosing my hair for 2 years. Same pattern as you do. All over the scalp and nothing could help. I lost almost 80 percent of my hair.
I hope you can find something that helps and if you do pls tell me.
Enclosed you can see a pic of my one day shed.

That looks a lot like how my sink looks on a bad day. Honestly, I was un college when it started failing a subject I had to do all year so I'm just hoping it was telogen effluvium due to stress but I proper doubt it (My grades come out in 3 days, I'm hoping that a month or 2 after that this stops or really slows down. I've also cut my hair really short to make applying minoxidil all over the scalp fast.
