So for the past few months I've noticed that the hair on one of my temples has disappeared. I used to part my hair from that side of my head, and as soon as I realized the hair was falling I started parting my hair from the other side. I hoped my hair would come back in a few months, But its only gotten worse.
At 17 this is terrifying, Literally all I can think about all day. My college entrance exams are coming up and this is something I really don't want to worry about. I do have a feeling this is because of stress, Because I've been taking loads of it for the past year due to studies. I also have a horrible work schedule, sleeping 5 hours a day and studying the rest of the day. I don't know if this contributes to hair loss, So I'm just stating all my details. Forgive me if I say something stupid.
Additional details-
Nobody in my family is bald, except for my dad, But he says he lost his hair due to working at a chlorine factory, after I was born. All my cousins, grandparents, etc. have hair.
I have loads of acne, and sometimes I even have small bumps on my scalp, which bleed if I scratch them.
Please do let me know if you can figure out whats wrong? My mother says its just my imagination, but I know for sure that my left temple is shedding. Anything will help.
I'm hoping since this has just started, I can somehow stop it.
