17 Year Old - Telogen Effluvium Or Not?

Had this type of hair loss for years now. Doctor said it's Telogen Effluvium. (I've been very iron deficient, ferritin = 17). This is Telogen Effluvium right? Should I hop on minoxidil?


What is the course of action for me? P.S. my iron deficiency is being treated.

I'm not an expert but yea your hairloss looks like it could be from another issue. Definitely get your thyroid checked.
