hello all. I'm very new to these forums to bare with me. Basically i noticed some recession when I was 15 but thought it was a maturing hairline. Now 2 years later I can definitely tell its a receding hairline. Any suggestions on what to do? My dad had a bald spot on the crown of his head, but he started balding at 30 something, my uncles and grandfathers all started balding around 30/40 also. None of my male cousins are bald yet, and they are all older than 20. Any advice would be appreciated.

well it sounds like you are pretty sure you have male pattern baldness. You will want to start finasteride, but 17 is pushing it as you are young. See a hair transplant doctor about it (not for a transplant, for advice on using the medication and maybe a prescription)
