I’m hoping this is my last post on here. For the last 11 weeks I’ve been constantly nervous about whether or not I’m losing my hair. This post is gonna go through all the photos I’ve taken over this time frame.

History: Mentioned in my last post, but my dad has a very juvenile hairline with extremely thick long hair (50). His dad has slightly thin, NW2.5 hair. (80) His mom has a full head of hair (78). My mom has a full head of hair, her dad has thinner hair, but barely on the Norwood scale (80). Her mom has good hair. Her grandfather was bald.

Photos:

Completely dry (today): https://imgur.com/a/HGv059a

Completely drenched crown (today): https://imgur.com/a/L5OOwMn under very harsh flash.

Towel Dried Crown (today): https://imgur.com/a/YWIWnjT under very harsh flash

Full head drenched (3 days ago): https://imgur.com/a/NAJ1dcI very harsh flash

Dry Hair with product (3 days ago): https://imgur.com/a/FFA5S7r harsh flash but light on

Wet, dry, styled (end of December): https://imgur.com/a/JFjpfXi

Styled (middle of December): https://imgur.com/a/22BZDBk

I know it’ll come up in the comments, but I probably do have minor BDD (I think that’s what it’s called) but any minor flaw in my hair triggers me, especially since I have great history. Please let me know if anything at ALL seems concerning. I’m most condensers with the drenched crown due to how normal it looks dry and how terrible it looks wet. Call me a “chad” all you want, but this genuinely concerns me more than it probably should.

It's totally normal to see your scalp when your hair is wet, your hair looks fine to me.

if anything it looks way too thick. you need to have a more mature hair look

If my hair was too thick, wouldn’t I be completely covered when it’s wet / styled? When I style it up and to the right, I can sometimes see scalp through bright light. This could be the way it’s styled tho

I think you just want to hear what you want to hear, so I'll be the one to say it. You're balding!

Jokes aside, I honestly don't know why you're worried about your hair. Are people saying things which make you insecure?

I appreciate it lmao. but fr. I had my hair cut very very short in November, and it’s not visible in those pics but I have a small bald spot above my right temple that was caused by over twisting my hair over the course of like 6 months (used to twist 1 spot as tight as possible multiple times daily, eventually damaged the area.) so while it was short my friend joked that he could see my scalp and that I’m balding, which led me to panic and research. I think my worries is all confirmation bias, and I think if a professional laughs at me and tells me the same thing you guys are, I’ll be able to climb that psychological hump

last bump, i'd appreciate if someone could tell me whether or not the line of baby hairs on my hairline is normal or thinning

I'm not gonna disagree, but what are your thoughts on the "baby hairs" on my hairline?

They are nothing to worry about, its not miniaturization.
Children and women have fine downy hair around the hairline which gives a softer appearance.

Seriously bro, you need to stop worrying

I appreciate the response. I feel like deleting everything from here and ignoring it for a few weeks would help me, but like I said in my OP i probably have minor BDD and that'll be hard to do. Thank you/
