I ve been using 1mg finpecia for around 15 months now and i am still losing hair, the last two months have been the worse. I have also been using Minoxidil 5% once a day. What can i do?

It depends. If you are still losing your hair but at a much slower rate, then it means that finasteride is working. Finasteride slows down your hairloss. It does not necessarily make your hairloss non-existent. However, if you haven't noticed anything at all, then most likely finasteride isn't doing anything for you.

Using minoxidil is one of your only choices if you want to fight your hairloss.

So you've been using both finasteride (1 mg) AND min (5%) for 15 months and NOTHING has changed?

You could use min twice a day and see what happens then.

Increasing finasteride dosage won't do much in general as the DHT inhibition curve shows us (google it you'll find it immediately). You could give it a try, though.

You could try dutasteride. Some people used that and it worked.
