13 months on finasteride and no hairline gains.

Density on top looking good, hair on top is a little bit finer than sides and back, but density is satisfactory for sure, definitely better than it used to be. My biggest problem now is my hairline. It never used to bother me, but I swear it's getting worse even while on finasteride. I thought it was getting better, but it's becoming more and more bothersome. What's worse, those "promising" new growths all along the hairline aren't anywhere near fruition. In fact, I think they're slowly dying off.

Anyone have success with anything on the hairline? I'm thinking it's almost time to add something to the regimen just for the hairline.

Thanks.

For all those peole who aren't having success on Finasteride...

Notice Deaner was a success story but all of a sudden he's having problems again.

My point: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SUCCESS!!!!

Sorry to use you as an example Deaner and I wish you the best of luck, but there is too many people on this website that don't understand what "success" is, in fact there is no such thing as success.

Only gains and losses or somewhere in between is all you can expect from Finasteride, not success.

I disagree. There is certainly such a thing as success.

It is defined as "being happy with the gains you have made".

And if you have had no gains, and only downfalls... THEN you have had no success.

Otherwise, any gain or improvement is definately a successful occurance via your regimen.

Misterium, why don't you say something that we don't all know. And thank you for confusing my post that WAS capable of helping some people out.

Let me rephrase for all the people that are looking to argue.

Success is your own interpertation. (reading about someone elses success does not have to be the definition of your own).

Success is nothing but mere opinion which renders it worthless and unexistent. That does not mean you shouldn't create your own opinion even though it is worthless which everyone seems to do without understanding of what an opinion actually is.

The objective/ subjective differentiation is needed for an understanding of mere opinion.

sh*t, I was having success last week with finasteride and I should have posted my success story.... oh wait, this week I feel I'm not having success.

Should I post I'm having success everytime I think I succeeding?

Believe it or not, I'm trying to extinguish all the negative talk on this website about hairloss drugs.

Don't get caught up in someone elses opinions because chances are they don't even know whats going on themselves.

Paradise I see your point but I would suggest you search on this forum for Diddy.

I disagree with your analysis of my situation. The first thing I mention in my post is great gains in density. I can style my hair in ways I could have only dreamed of a year ago, and i stick by that assessment of myself. Don't get ahead of yourself there cowboy, I'm merely saying that my temples aren't benefitting from finasteride.

I'm not having problems again, finasteride just failed to solve my temple problem to begin with. And we all know that that's the hardest spot to grow back. How about you actually read my posts before you go make wild assumptions and summaries of them.

P.S. Next time you try to look smart use 'inexistent' instead of the inexistent 'unexistent'

I read your post fine Deaner and yes you are a very bad example for my ranting because I'm guessing you still consider yourself a success story and that is cool.

Sorry to get you involved but you do see my point though, right?

Thanks for the correction on "inexistent", I type fast and I didn't realize my mistake which is pretty stupid. Trust me, I don't consider myself "smart". I'm a highschool drop out that smokes too much weed.

Peace

re: paradise

It is tough to suffer through your posts they are totally unconstructive and tedious. You should rename yourself to "trainreck" because your posts are very tough to deal with but I cannot stop looking at them.
