11 months on finasteride , shedding a lot recently

Hi,

I am 23 years old righ now .I have been on 1.25mg Proscar for over 11 months. It seemed like nothing happened for the last 10 months.
But I started loosing a good amount of hair recently.

Is it a good sign or the medicine just not working for me?

Should I just wait for a few months ?

Just because you are shedding does not mea the finasteride isn't working, you may be maintaining your hair or at least slowing down the loss

you can consider dutasteride if you do not think the finasteride is working
