=============10 years finasteride user===========

anyone has taken finasteride for 10 years plus already pls reply....If i was not wrong, finasteride was invented way back in the 1980s for BPH right?..I am expecting those who were taking this drug for BPH or better still male pattern baldness to respond....

ya - that's me. started in 1995 or 1996 (college years, don't remember much). It was a clinical trial for finasteride on male pattern baldness, that a friend of mine got me involved with.

Funny, about 2 years ago i was sitting with this old fart at a golf club, and he was going on about all the pills he had to take. One was Proscar. i was like "ya, i'm on that too". sure enough, he had started it for his prostate, but had noticed his hair came back a bit. Not much, but a bit.
