Hey guys, I cannot tell if I have experienced any change (for better or for worse) in my left temple. Can you please tell me if it looks better on the left or on the right? The two pictures are one year apart. I tried to match the angle the best I could. The right one is angled slightly more to the side (more towards a profile view) while the left picture is more isometric. My hair is also shorter on the sides in the right picture than it is in the left picture.

I am on no conventional treatments. I currently take Saw Palmetto, borage oil, biotin, Nicotinamide Riboside, Pterostilbene, omega 3, and zinc orotate. I started these at varying times throughout the year.

Thanks!

its really hard to see any discernible difference and it could always be put down to other factors. However its clear that for the most part you havn't lost any ground so take great solace in that fact :). Either what you are doing is working or your hairloss is so slow that its not something you should fret too much about especially if you are on treatments.

Thank you everyone for your responses!

The right side shows further thinning of the hairline

What makes you say that? What section looks thinner on the right picture when compared to the left? I'm not sure I see it and would like to know what I'm looking for. Thanks!

The right picture looks less dense (the hairline itself, temple points and everywhere else looks fine) however as I said, its really hard to know for sure if that is from thinning or because of differences in lighting and angles. That is what I think other people are seeing. Its hard to discern, I am afraid all you can do is wait. I was in a similar situation and got so sick of spending time thinking about it I just got on finasteride and haven't looked back since. I know its different in your situation because you are on less proven treatments. You are still like a norwood 1 though and have plenty of time to take more drastic action if needs be.

This might seem random, but are you a youtuber, I swear I recognise you lol.

Thank you so much for the indepth response! I'm not sure if I see what you mean by less dense but maybe soon I'll try to stitch together some more pics of the same angles and try to compare that region better.

Nope not a youtuber! But I would love to know who you're thinking of hahaha

Yeah my first inclination is to say that they are identical, I was just trying to give an explanation as to why others might have thought otherwise. Look at the hairs in tension at the very edge of your hairline as a result of you pulling your hair back in the left picture. Maybe just maybe one could make a case that there are more hairs that appear in tension than on the right, indicating some kind of loss. However its so heavily dependent on lighting and the direction those hairs are being pulled.

And I was thinking of a channel called salazar studio lol

Nope not me! So you'd still say that it's basically the same?
