Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays all!

Jumped on 1.5 years ago. I was 39 and had an abrupt and noticeable shed for the first time after a lifetime of crazy thick healthy hair.

I immediately hit several derms, endocrinologists (I had been put on low dose thyroid meds the year before), and even a top Midwest transplant surgeon.

I was given the whole TA runaround, my hairline was holding but the change in the hair quality and density was noticeable. I started on Keto 2% Rx 4 Times a week and saw palmetto. Ferritin was low. After a 8 months I jumped on topical Mino, with very noticeable 6 week shed. I switched to 1.25 oral minoxidil once a day. Capillus 272 6 minutes per day.

Have noticed some stabilization of the vertex but the front hairline is declining. I had a crazy baseline hair density, comsentically has bought sometime. Dr. still says my issue is 85% TA 15% AA. She’s wrong.

2018 ready to add to the regimen. Need honest opinions. I just watched the ‘Top Hairloss mistakes vidoe’ and was inspired to try some alternatives.

1. Microdosing propecia
2. Topical propecia
3. RU
4. Already gluten free, no sugar. Plan to cut alcohol and shift to plant based w/fish. Worried about the iron and zinc though.

Any thoughts on the order I should try these options?

How long to evaluate effectiveness and or side effects?

Trying to buy myself some time. Appreciate the feedback. I’m grateful things aren’t awful yet but please know I’m on the same as everyone on this board.

I get it. I’m in pretty good shape for my age, and grateful, but the thinning is real. No weird BDD. The change came out of nowhere and the decline has been pretty aggressive. My bathroom is covered in hair at the end of the day. Just hoping for some advice from the community.

Just take finasteride and you will keep your hair for a long time, and add minoxidil if you really want to fight it. Welcome to what it feels like to get older, you have better hair than many people in there 20s.
