Does anyone know if it is possible to lower the dosage of dutasteride from 0.5 mg/day to for instance 0.5mg/every second day once you have reached a certain concentration of dutasteride in the system?
Im very interested in switching from Finasteride to Dustasteride based on the clinical indications of dustasteride being a more potent drug at maintaining and regrowing hair. However, Im also very concerned about the possible sideeffects of dutasteride at 0.5mg/day. Since dutasteride has such a long half time, I was wondering if you can actually lower this dosage (skipping every second day) and still maintain a high koncentration of the drug in the blod?
And what is the difference between dht serum koncentration and dht in the scalp. Are theses koncentrations lineary proportional?
