LaVivid uniwigs is a bust. AVOID THEM

When their quality is on point, their Keanu unit (hybrid lace/poly with European hair which can now only be ordered as a custom) is one of the best I've found yet. Unfortunately, it's a complete gamble. Occasionally, I'll receive a unit with what appear to be pubic hairs in the hairline...

LaVivid uniwigs is a bust. AVOID THEM

LaVivid does in fact have poor customer service. Unfortunately, they are one of the few manufacturers offering hybrid units with .04 poly in the front and lace in the back (or poly front/sides with lace middle) and European hair. Anyone have some recommendations? Looking to move on from LaVivid...

Ghost Bond breaking down after shower

Wait, so earlier in this thread it was unavoidable, simple chemistry that occurs when in contact with water in the shower. Now, it's because I didn't apply enough layers? I wear poly and got by fine for a long time with two layers. When I wear lace, I always go with three plus layers.

Ghost Bond breaking down after shower

I have the same problem and it seems like it's gotten worse. I apply two layers and let the second layer dry for five minutes. Going to try three lighter layers and see how that works.

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

Wanted to update this thread. I've had three units from MHE since I started this thread. The first was a blonde unit because that's all he was able to get. I dyed it to my color. It did the job although the hair on this unit just continuously fell out. I think I pulled on it too hard trying to...

No luck yet. Going on seven months now. Curtis is responsive as always but has no update other than to say it should be here soon.

Kiosks would be great pre-Covid. Not sure how well they would work now. Curtis has definitely helped changing the stigma surrounding systems. I would love for younger guys to know they don't have to take the chemical poisons to get their hair back. I would gone this route a long time ago if I...

Does he have SMP under his unit? I've always wondered if it would show through.

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

Thanks, I've checked out Lordhair and seen a lot of stickonhair's videos. Sometimes his units look good and sometimes not so much. He also does a lot of custom sh*t after experimenting to make them better. Lavivid's look okay from the website. I'll email them and see if they think they have...

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

Do you wear their poly units? Would you say they look as good as my pics? Does anyone here have a source that looks as good as my pics (poly or lace)? I'm really paranoid that Curtis is putting me at the back of the line for some reason. There's no excuse for it taking this long. I bought a...

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

I really just shared these pics to help those on the fence and give back. Curtis comp'd me a unit when I accidentally ruined one trying to trim it to size. It wasn't the dimensions I had requested. When I reached out to him about the downgrade in hair quality and color he wouldn't replace it...

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

Yeah, when I put on a new unit and suddenly have a different hairline it's obvious to me. Like I said, most people won't be able to tell. The differences in color are pretty frustrating. My hairdresser notices so it's not just me. As you can see in the pics, Curtis's units are legit despite...

    MHE delays--looking for alternative

I do wear an exposed hairline. If someone caught me in the right light a few days into a hairline bond and was close enough, they could detect it if they know what they are looking for. I would say 99% don't (I could be wrong here but I'm not too concerned about it). I had a random conversation...
